This Privacy Policy aims to describe the methods used to manage this Site in relation to the handling of the personal data of the users who consult the Site.   • PERSONAL DATA HANDLING PURPOSES AND METHODS
    The personal data provided freely by you will not be disclosed and will be handled in order to: a) provide the Product Catalog service indicated and freely chosen by you and to allow Util Industries S.p.A to carry out investigations relating to this Service received and to carry out and provide research and access statistics in relation to login numbers, searches made within the online catalog, number of pages displayed, access times, etc. - all statistical activity will be carried out for internal use only and the results will not be disclosed and its only purpose is to improve the service offered to users of the Site and the Online catalog; b) provide, with your express consent, commercial and/or promotional information about new products, and to send interactive commercial communication or advertising material about products, services and other activities of Util Industries S.p.A, and the other Util Group companies, which include, as well as Util Industries S.p.A. Util Canada Ltd, Util Mexico Ltd and Util (Guangzhou) Auto Parts Co. Ltd.

    The data will be handled in accordance with statutory obligations, guaranteeing total compliance with legal and contractual standards and regulations. The handling of the data for each of the above purposes will take place using paper-based, automated, telematic and IT methods, in particular, by ordinary or electronic mail (newsletters), in order to guarantee the security and privacy of the data and, in any case, in accordance with the provisions of arts. 31 and following of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and Annex B to this Decree. The data will be retained for a period of no longer than the time required for the purposes for which it has been collected and, in any case, for the time specified by civil and tax standards.

  • PERSONAL DATA HANDLING LOCATION
    The handling relating to the data collected will take place at the offices of Util Industries S.p.A., Information Technologies Office, Via Giovanni XXIII 14019 Villanova d’Asti (AT - Asti) Italy.
  • BROWSING DATA
    The browsing data, whose transmission is implicit within the use of a Internet communication protocols, by its nature, might, due to associations and processing with data held by third parties, permit the identification of the users (e.g. IP address; domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, etc.). This data is only used by Util Industries S.p.A. to obtain anonymous statistical information about use of the site and to check it is functioning correctly and is deleted immediately after processing. This data might be used to identify responsibility in the event of hypothetical IT crimes to the detriment of the site and may be exhibited to the Judicial Authorities, if they make an explicit request for it.
  • COOKIES

Art. 7. Right to Access Personal Data and Other Rights

  1. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him/her exists, regardless of it being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.
     
  2. The interested party has the right to be informed
    a) of the source of the personal data;
    b) of the purposes and methods of the handling;
    c) of the logic applied to the handling, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;
    d) of the identification data concerning data controller, data managers and the representative designated as per Article 5, Clause (2);
    e) of the parties or categories of party to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may acquire this data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, data manager(s) or operative(s) in charge of the processing.
     
  3. The interested party has the right to obtain
    a) updating, correction or, where interested therein, integration of the data;
    b) deletion, anonymizing or blocking of data that has been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which it has been collected or subsequently handled;
    c) certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their content, to the entities to whom or which the data has been communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.
     
  4. The interested party has the right to object, in whole or in part,
    a) on legitimate grounds, to the handling of personal data concerning him/her, even if relevant to the purpose of the collection;
    b) to the handling of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for the performance of market or commercial communication research.
